Party Like it's 1969: IKRON Hosts Inaugural 5K at Smale Park

On July 20, IKRON staff and friends gathered for an unusual reason: to run or walk 5K in Cincinnati's Smale Park.

The Summer of Love Fun Run/Walk included tie-dyed t-shirts, 1969 costumes, and prizes. Despite a record-breaking heat wave, over 100 people turned out to beat the heat and get their weekend off to a running start, including folks from as far afield as Atlanta.

The 5K was a fun way to celebrate our 50 years, but stay tuned--plans are in the works to make this a regular thing and you don't want to miss out.
