This is the 50th in a continuing series of stories--one every day for 50 days--to conclude IKRON's year-long celebration of our 50th anniversary. Missed one? No problem! See the entire series on our news page here.

Thank you for reading our 50 For 50 series. This dive into IKRON's history has been tremendously rewarding for our staff and helpful for understanding where we've come from and where we're going. We hope you have enjoyed it as well.

For our final story, we consider the future--not only IKRON's future, but the future of our graduates and our current participants who continue to work hard every day to overcome barriers, learn new things, and make their dreams come true.

Twice a year, IKRON holds a graduation ceremony for participants who meet at least one of these criteria: 1) Getting a job; 2) Getting into higher education or trade school; or 3) Earning a GED. For some of our participants, their IKRON graduation is the first time they've ever had the opportunity to graduate at all. It's an inspiring experience that we invite you to join us for in May and October of 2020. Be sure you're subscribed to our newsletter for more details as the big day approaches.

Our Executive Director, Randy Strunk, had this to say at a 2019 graduation:

"Now one thing is for certain. This journey, one's life, one's work is ever changing. The job you have today may not be the job you have tomorrow. Your journey will change. One thing that is without change, though, is our continued service and support to you. If you ever need us along your life journey, please reach out. We are here to help. Good luck with your new career or new education. We are so very, very proud."

We're glad to have you with us on our journey through our next 50 years.
