We're excited to share staff profiles to let you get to know the folks who make up IKRON a bit better. Cheryl is our Placement Coordinator and has graciously agreed to go first in our series called "10 Questions Plus."
Q. Where are you from?
A. Cincinnati, Ohio (yawn)
(Editor: What?? Cincinnati is awesome!)
Q. What would you name your autobiography?
A. “The indestructible Cheryl Coey”
Q. If you could be any fictional character, who would you choose?
A. The Doctor from Doctor Who: time travel, regeneration, and you can speak any language?! Yes, please.
Q. What is your favorite word?
A. That’s hard to say; maybe "Mom." It’s the word that is both awesome and annoying to hear and be called based on the circumstances.
Q. If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
A. Speak other languages. I think I’m past my prime on learning and retaining them now, though.
Q. What sound or noise do you love?
A. The sound of kids laughing, especially mine, even if they are not kids anymore.
Q. What’s your favorite hobby?
A. Trivia, board games, dancing, hiking.
Q. What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?
A. Profiler for the FBI.
Q. What is something you learned in the last week?
A. 99% of calico cats are female.
Q. If Hollywood made a movie about your life, who would you like to see cast as you?
A. Sandra Bullock or Rachel Weisz
Q. What’s something about IKRON you’d like people to know?
A. How much our team really cares. How invested we are, how personally we take our participants' victories and setbacks. Also, the diversity in the jobs we help folks obtain!
